Abstract:
Morality includes criteria by which one can judge the rightness or wrongness of human actions. Also, ethics is the value and normative rules of a society that are reflected in the behavior of its people. In recent decades, attention to ethical issues in various sciences has always been emphasized. The need to pay attention to ethics in modeling and operational research has also been emphasized by the operations research community. One of the most important issues raised in management discussions today is that basically, management does not make sense without considering ethical issues in the organization, on the other hand, due to the dynamics in human systems, fixed models are not suitable for it, considering rapid changes and transformations. Nowadays, the need to use dynamic models in such systems is felt more than before. The issue of ethics in operational research, while being new, has provided a special attraction for researchers in this scientific field. This article reviews ethics in operational research.
