One of the widely used analytical techniques suitable in qualitative research is the "thematic analysis". This method can be utilized to identify patterns within qualitative data. The aim of this article is to examine this method and thematic networks in qualitative research. This study was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method, with data collected through documentary research. The primary data collection tools included note-taking and excerpting from texts. The research findings indicate that "thematic analysis" is one of the common methods of content analysis and a technique for analyzing qualitative data obtained from interviews, focus group discussions, qualitative questionnaires, and printed documents. This research employed thematic analysis in both inductive and deductive forms. The process of thematic analysis and thematic network analysis involves the following stages: studying and describing the text; elaborating and interpreting the text; integrating and synthesizing the text; summarizing the thematic network and presenting it as an elaborated text, matrix, table, and thematic network. In the thematic analysis method, the researcher carefully organizes the dataset and identifies common themes, topics, ideas, and semantic patterns. Like other research methods, this approach has positive and negative features that must be considered in its application.
